WOLFARIAN
WOLFARIAN is a symphonic-folk metal band from Brno, characterized by two contrasting voices. A crude male growl and a fine female singing.
Wolfarian has eight members.
In addition to the typical instruments, they are complemented by violin melodies, translucent flutes and keyboards. They play a distinctive symphonic folk-metal with a distinctive dance accent and a thrilling concert show. Their songs, however, are full of mysterious melancholy and beauty.
The lyrics are based on the stories of Nordic and Celtic mythology. They are full of pagan, war and heroic themes. The music echoes Celtic, Germanic, medieval and classical music.
Wolfarian performs on a various types of events, from large rock festivals, through music clubs to acoustic performances in castles in Czech Republic and abroad.
The band has already played with many foreign artists such as Theocracy, Percival Schuttenbach, Kalevala, Grimner, Grai or Nothgard.
In 2015 they released their first album called "Far Away In The North".
In January 2019, the second album "Beyond The Ninth Wave" was released.
